New Delhi: A complete of 986,850 individuals subscribed to worker provident fund in the course of the month of August, an 11 per cent decline compared to the earlier month, knowledge launched by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation on Tuesday confirmed.
Since April 2018 the Ministry has been bringing out employment-related statistics within the formal sector overlaying the interval September 2017 onwards, utilizing the knowledge on the variety of subscribers who’ve subscribed below three main schemes — the Staff’ Provident Fund (EPF) Scheme, the Staff’ State Insurance coverage (ESI) Scheme and the Nationwide Pension Scheme (NPS).
