Dubai: The Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum renamed the Al Minhad district and its surrounding areas as ‘Hind Metropolis’ on Sunday, the official information company of Emirates, WAM reported.
Town is split into 4 zones and accommodates houses for UAE residents.
“Town contains 4 zones–Hind 1, Hind 2, Hind 3, and Hind 4–and spans an space of 83.9km,” WAM reported. Town is related by key roadways resembling Emirates Street, Dubai-Al Ain Street, and Jebel Ali-Lehbab Street.
The Al Minhad area and its neighbouring territories have been renamed ‘Hind Metropolis’ in accordance with Dubai Ruler’s instructions.

Notably, this isn’t the primary time one thing has been renamed in Dubai. Earlier in 2010, Burj Dubai was renamed as Burj Khalifa after Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Abu Dhabi then. He handed away on Might 13, 2022.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum who renamed the Al Minhad district as ‘Hind Metropolis’ is the vp, prime minister, and minister of defence of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in addition to the ruler of Dubai.
He’s the third son of Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the previous UAE vp and ruler of Dubai. Following his brother Maktoum’s demise in 2006, Mohammed took over as vp and ruler.
Al Maktoum is described as “one of many world’s most distinguished actual property builders.
